Collagraph III 2020

This is the third collagraph I've done since coronavirus hit the United States. The closing of Kutztown University and social distancing restrictions have limited me to my own studio, Studio 108, in Kutztown, PA. I was originally planning a one month residency at Il Bisonte in Florence, Italy and then going to Kansas State University as a visiting artist during this time. Both were cancelled.

I don’t have the ventilation in Studio 108 that I need for etching so I’ve put etching aside temporarily and decided to make collagraphs. I did a lot of collagraphs at the when I was in school and I’m happy to get back to them full time.
